By accessing or using CertTracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
CertTracker is a cloud-based software platform that helps businesses track employee certifications, send automated expiry reminders, and generate compliance reports. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with various plan tiers.
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to core features and up to 10 employees. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial period, your account will remain active in read-only mode until you upgrade to a paid plan. Your data will be preserved for 90 days after the trial ends.
Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices are listed on our pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy. All fees are in US Dollars (USD) and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy below.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, contact us at support@getcerttracker.com for a full refund. Refunds are not available after the 30-day period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Upon cancellation, your account will be downgraded to the trial tier at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your data. To delete your account and all data, contact support.
You retain ownership of all data you input into CertTracker, including employee records, certification data, and uploaded documents. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You may export your data at any time using the CSV export feature.

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
CertTracker is a tracking and reminder tool. It is not a substitute for professional legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. While we help you monitor certification expirations, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring your business meets all applicable regulatory requirements. We are not liable for fines, penalties, or losses resulting from expired certifications.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertTracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
